The Luper Technique Target Analysis criteria present a structured approach to addressing shooting inaccuracies, potentially elevating the skill level of shooters to that of qualified pistol instructors. With 32 years of experience as a Special Agent, I have dedicated a significant portion of my career to training law enforcement professionals and have spent 22 years actively participating in IPSC shooting, supported by five major sponsors. Throughout my career, I have certified and instructed over 15,000 law enforcement students, ranging from basic quarterly qualifications to Advanced Tactical Rangemaster and Rangemaster certifications, as well as training for Special Weapons Tactical Team Academies. Notably, the State of California’s Parole Division has employed the Luper Technique for training firearms instructors and students for more than 26 years.
